On the morning of September 5, Jiang Zengwei, President of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS), met with Dr. Georg Zanger, President of the Austrian Chinese Business Association (ACBA), and his delegation in Beijing.

Jiang Zengwei stated that GATIS is an international, industrial, and non-profit social organization established under the initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping and supported by the Chinese government. It has officially accepted 230 member units, covering 41 countries and regions across five continents, and involving 12 major service fields. Since its establishment, GATIS has actively engaged in exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries. Going forward, it will accelerate member development, increase member exchanges, address member needs, and support enterprises in all countries, especially those in developing countries, to boost the economic growth of trade in services. He expressed hope that ACBA would leverage its influence in Europe to actively recommend enterprises and institutions to establish contacts with GATIS, strengthen cooperation, and promote the development of service trade between Austria and China. He also hoped that Dr. Georg Zanger would provide suggestions on the international development of GATIS.

Dr. Georg Zanger agreed with Jiang's views and expressed willingness to actively play the role of a bridge, promoting domestic enterprises and institutions to join GATIS. He also looked forward to influencing the economic exchange policy between Austria and China through cooperation to better promote bilateral economic development. He suggested that the two sides regularly exchange work priorities to better strengthen cooperation and hoped to actively promote the globalization of trade in services through the GATIS platform.
