On April 25, the Global Alliance for Trade in

Services convened its 1st General Assembly and the 1st meeting of the first

council at the China National Convention Center both online and offline. During

the meetings, the Articles of Association of the Global Alliance for Trade in

Services were reviewed and adopted, and the Initiative of the Global Alliance

for Trade in Services was reviewed and released. The meetings elected the

members of the first council of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services and

elected the President, Vice President, and Secretary-General (also the legal

representative) of the first council of the Global Alliance for Trade in

Services, forming the institutional framework of the Service Trade Union. After

that, the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the legal person

certificate were obtained, and the registration was completed.

China International Consumer Products Expo Debuts and Hosts the Summit

On July 27, the Global Alliance for Trade in

Services made its debut at the Hainan China International Consumer Products

Expo 2022 and hosted the Digital Trade Promotion and Consumption Upgrading

(Hainan) Summit, with the theme of "Building a new ecosystem of digital

trade and sharing new opportunities for consumption". More than 200

representatives from domestic and foreign enterprises, government agencies,

think tanks and media attended the event offline.

Global Service Trade Entrepreneurs Summit at CIFTIS focusing on "the Power

of Innovation"

The Global Alliance for Trade in Services, as a new

international cooperation agency of CIFTIS 2022, held the Global Service Trade

Entrepreneurs Summit with the theme of "the Power of Innovation" at

the CIFTIS on September 1 and released the Global

Service Trade Innovation Trend Report 2022. More than 300 people from

relevant units of the central government, municipal leaders of Beijing, foreign

diplomatic envoys in China, representatives of international organizations,

leading enterprises in global service trade, representatives of industry

associations and think tanks, etc., attended the summit either online or

offline. At the same time, the organization of member enterprises set up the

image exhibition of the Alliance in the comprehensive exhibition area of the

China International Fair for Trade in Services from September 1 to 5 to achieve

a wonderful appearance.

International Import Expo

On November 5, the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, together with

the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Academy of

Social Sciences, co-hosted the parallel session of the Hongqiao International

Economic Forum of China International Import Expo, focusing on the theme of

"Innovation and Development of Digital Trade: Opportunities and Challenges".
